The Delhi fee for women (DCW) has sought a response from Delhi institution vice-chancellor Yogesh Tyagi on experiences of discriminatory hostel suggestions for woman college students.
The DCW has sought facts on a variety of elements of the hostel rules, because it has instituted a committee to seem into the gender discrimination record via Pinjra Tod — a scholar activist community fighting discriminatory hostel guidelines on school campuses.
The DCW has given the VC 15 days to reply to queries on gender-based reservation in diverse hostels of the school.
The commission has questioned the distinctive time limits to enter the hostel for guys and women. they've requested the DU to clarify why men and women were charged diverse quantity of payment. The DU will also have to give guidance on the reservation for transsexual students and those with incapacity.
